Guar gum futures fall on lower participation

New Delhi: Guar gum prices fell Rs 23 to Rs 9,330 per quintal in the futures trade as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market. Guar gum for October delivery declined by 0.25 per cent in 46,815 lots.

Copper futures gain on higher demand

Copper futures rose 0.53 per cent to Rs 923 per kilogram due to higher spot demand. Copper contracts for October delivery grew 0.53 per cent in a business turnover of 2,303 lots. Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.

Aluminium futures fall on trimmed bets

Aluminium prices slipped 10 paise to Rs 261.55 per kilogram in the futures trade as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market. Aluminium for delivery in September fell 0.10 per cent in 789 lots.
